I'm not in marketing, so I don't get a say unfortunately.
How about, for the extra $20 Voyager costs, we give you NZ based phone support and IPv6? Deal? :P

20$ for ipv6 seems a little harsh ;)

Shh, don't tell anyone, but IPv6 is free on Voyager anyway ... for anyone.

Bundle discounts, sign up deals etc aside, Skinny is at 98$
Slingshot, Orcon, MyRepublic and Skinny are all more or less the same price about $100. (MyRepublic requires a 12 month contract. Skinny don't need any contract but IIRC do require ~$100 signup fee without one. Can't recall about Slingshot or Orcon but think it's similar to Skinny.)
With signup deals, Slingshot and Orcon tend to be the best since they basically have 6 months half price or 3 months free, on a 12 month contract; all the time via Glimp or Broadband Compare or both. (So beat the same deal offered by Bigpipe on a pure price basis.) MyRepublic sometimes do that, but not all the time. Skinny seem to rarely have such signup deals so even with their $1-2 lower price they can't compare on a price basis to signup deals. (I mean you need to be with them for more than 10 years to come out on top.)
Orcon do have IPv6 in most/all? areas. Although as a quick disclaimer, for some reason my IPv6 keeps dying requiring a restart to fix, I'm not sure whether it's the Netcomm or something else. (Last I checked, Slingshot doesn't have IPv6 despite being another Vocus subbrand and almost the same thing as Orcon nowadays because they're still using PPPoE and they haven't got around to getting IPv6 working with their fibre on that.) No comment on other factors like support, performance, problems etc.
Some of the others (IIRC 2degrees and Stuff whenever they're running their contract bonus) also meet come to $100 regular price if you have a bundle deal or something similar.
They sent out this email:
Hey Daniel,
You spoke, and we listened.
In our recent survey, customers told us that they found our Elite UFB Plan too pricey. So we have decided to drop the price. Effective from your next bill date, your Elite UFB Plan’s monthly price will drop from $129 to $109.
You don’t need to make any changes at your end. Your service and plan will stay the same. So, just sit back and enjoy your new low price.
If you have any questions or concerns, just reply to this email.
Cheers,
The Bigpipe People

$30 more for Gigabit is a bit steep though. How about something better than 20Mbs^-1 upstream on the 200Mbs^-1 plan?

The upstream rates are basically set by what the LFCs (including Chorus) offer aren't they? I mean they could pay for a more expensive plan from Chorus like the gigabit one and limit it internally if necessary but there's no way that's going to be profitable. (I do agree that 20Mbps is slow hence why I was on 100/50Mbps for a long time but point is that's on the LFCs especially Chorus not on the RSPs.)
Just to make sure I have my facts straight: Skinny and BigPipe are on the exact same network (Spark). For the privilege of paying $11/month more, I get worse technical support (email vs phone) and the ability to pay a further $45 up front to get a static IP address.
Filing this under yeah nah...

Well yes, but I thought this was a Christmas wish list. I'm not concerned with the details of how the elves make it happen.

I guess my point is, if we're asking for things which can't be achieve, why ask for just a better upstream? It seems better to just go the whole hog and say they should just upgrade everyone on 100/20 to Gb (well 950/500 if you prefer) at no added cost

Reach out to the team and see if they can't adjust this, your billing run may have been right before it launched.
