is vodafone/2degrees much better? Spark IMHO has the best coverage, tho the Hauraki Plains just outright sucks for all providers

Tested them all when I arrived here.  All much the same. Looking at my dual SIM phone now Skinny 1 bar, 2D 0 bars.

an interesting question about wifi calling is, when it's not your own network... how can you ensure the customers quality of service? afterall, who are they going to blame when calling is bad?

 

 

All three providers in Australia have Wi-Fi Calling, VoLTE, Visual Voicemail, eSIM & Apple Watch, so it seems like the answer to your question is maybe not as hard you might think.

Just another place in New Zealand which has a digital divide (and where my elderly relatives live)
