Finally have the new VDSL connection going!

We had the new connection wired up on the 23rd Of December, but due to a few 2degrees errors we were hooked up to ADSL2+, and could only get 20/1 speeds.

Have to say it has not been a easy experience with 2degrees on this. Many staff mistakes delayed things.

But we now have a very fast VDSL2 connection maxing out at 130/30 line connection. So was well worth pursing.

Yes I was pretty stoked! 302 meters from cabinet. Cat6 in conduit (from comms cabinet) to the chorus connection, so fibre ready.

That is pretty impressive!

My parents are about the same distance - looks like I need to re-do their cabling a little as it is syncing a little less these days (didn't use outdoor rated Ethernet cable):

Well semi rural. I do have cattle for neighbors sometimes. But it was way more than what I was expecting given all the info from chorus site.
