KiwiSurfer:

Just another trouble-shooting point, have you tried the same cable with other devices (e.g. PC to another PC) to ensure you can actually negotiate a gigabit connection over these cables. Just to rule these out as the culprit.

Indeed as per my original post - new CAT6a cables - all tested and fully functional with my PC's, laptops and gigabit switches

Also try plug into one of the other ONT ports. Obviously no service, but will be interesting to see if it connects at 100Mbps or 1Gbps. Although it's possible no sync at all if the ONT disables unprovisioned ports.

Hi, I'm also with BP and had the same issue, turns out they activated the service on port 2 of the ONT, although they didn't tell me that until I contact their support.

And it took over a week after I got the confirmation email before the service was live.

My service was always active on LAN1. Ports 2-4 are disabled

I have internet, just at 1/10 of the paid for speed due the ONT LAN1 only seemingly auto-negotiating at 100Mb instead of 1Gb
