OK just looked and it seem XP x64 is supported with SP2. Not sure what is going on for you. Maybe remove all Nokia software on your PC and try again?

Nety:
Wow you are the only person I know running XP x64.. Wonder if that is your problem. I know it has lots of issues with software compatibility.

As ofr Opera no, I have tried Skyfire but that seems a bit buggy (could not login to this site).

I suspected it might be the x64 OS as well although 32-bit apps are normally ok, so have not bothered playing with the updater app.

There's a generic Opera mini for unlisted devices but I'll wait to see if anyone with an E75 has tried it first...Tongue out

Btw, are you or anyone else using Opera Mini on the E75? I've checked on the opera site but they don't list the E75 as one of the supported devices...

If you go to mini.opera.com (on the phone) it should detect the E75 and give you a download link. It seems to work fine!

Thanks Brookemeister: opera mini working nicely.

Nety: I'm just going to chill out for a while and not bother with the updater, at least for now.

One final question: why does the SIM card have to be returned to VF after porting to XT? The state my card is in, it's not going to be of much use to anyone else....

I am trying to get my E75 working as a bluetooth modem but am getting a connection error displayed on the phone. Is telecom still using the old username mobile@jamamobile and password telecom? Also my packet data access point is set to internet.telecom.co.nz. Is that correct?

The APN is correct, but don't input a user name or password. The number is *99# AFAIK.

Yes no password. Are you using Nokia PC suite to setup the connection? Otherwise you need a command string for DUN.

Thanks for the advice. I can us PC suite if that is best. In the settings it still asks for username and password and I can't see where the number *99# AFAIK applies. Not sure if I understand??

I think *99# is a GSM/WCDMA standard so it will default in unless you are setting up an DUN. Can't you just skip pass entering a user name and password?
