Would these be able to work so that if someone rings your land line your cell phone would ring? If so would be a great solution, your cellphone is essentually a cordless phone when at home and a cell phone when out.

I remember BT in UK had this solution but it was only supported by its own custom phone a Motorolla razr at the time.

I went along to a demonsttation of these on Friday given by Alcatel Lucent.

Alcatel Lucent talk about a mobile convergence solution with their box. This allows a carrier to link a PSTN number to the device which will can ring mobiles connected to the femtocell either all at once or using a round robbin system.
