cafeg: Nealr,
Can we add the 500 megabyte plan that is on the T Sticks to a normal prepay Sim ?
As this plan is charged @ 10cents a megabyte up to the first 300 meg..
So if you only use 100 meg you only pay $10..

Be great if we could get it on a prepay Sim as well..

You can :)

NealR: There's a good reason I may "know more than the CSRs"...so please do not be disappointed :)

I will pass on your recommendations to the product team for larger data caps at lower prices.

Neal

@manhinli, yes you can add the 500M plan to a prepaid connection.

+1 for higher caps :)

*333 is your friend for the 500MB plan.

You can have another 500MB for another $29.95 during the same month.

I tried tethering with myfi but it did not work however I am successfully tethering with PDAnet.

In fact it is so successful, I already went up to 1gb on my SIM and because after that they will charge at $50 for 500MB, I instead went and got a second SIM because it works out to be cheaper for the third 500mb. ($30 sim with $20 credit + 29.95) = $40 for the third 500mb.

Will there ever be a self-service options (text/IVR/online) to be able to change all the addon options yourself?

You can change your TXT and Data extras via the IVR.

I am really disappointed that the larger data caps have been removed from pre pay.

When XT launched I got my 3GB cap on a prepay connection for $84.95/month with another 1GB for $15 after that. This is what I am still using but I know numerous people who need a couple of GB/month but won't commit to a 2 year on-account plan.
