I know theres not a lot telecom can do, but its getting to a point where someone who can understand it having a few issues is becoming annoyed.

Appears to be some sort of congestion problem - got "missed call" alert and voicemail but phone has been beside me and did not ring. Now can't get through to voicemail or apparently any other number - either "no-service" or "busy". In Lower Hutt.

Telecom finally acknowledge the fault publicly. Wonder if PR made them wait til after 6pm news started?

The lead story on TVNZ1 is the XT network being down again, TVNZ staff have been unable to contact ANY Telecom spokespeople (calls are just going through to voicemail) and they (TVNZ) have been unable to get anyone at "Faults" to answer a call....

If only Telecom brought the XT network from The Warehouse, they could get a money back guarantee with proof of purchase :)

I'm in Newmarket/Parnel and have had no problems with TXT/Voice or Data, in fact I've got the fastest DL speeds on my iPhone ever on XT - thanks everyone else for dropping off XT I'm flying by like a race car hehe.

Mate says it's on the 6pm news, just watching now.

Just walked in on 6.00 clock news, said it's been down last hour and half, didn't catch any futher details. Looks like current solutions put in place to stop network crashing are not enough.

I don't see a Twitter quote anywhere in this thread actually.

Not a Twitter quote, but a direct link to the specific fault page http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=39&topicid=57705&page_no=2#301104
