Read it. Looks interesting, but now what is going to happen is that Telecom will fix this and all youtube videos will load as slow as hell from now on. I was watching some youtube vids last night and wondered why they were taking so long to load :(

well thats the end of Youtube, Thanks for that! Telecom will bring Youtube in under traffic management instead of caching it now.

How on earth do you arrive at that conclusion? =/

Why would they suddenly scrap their google cache? There are other methods they can use that are more precise for unshaped data than simply basing things on referrer - i was surpirsed when i heard this even worked.

It's more like a technical deficiency (in the planning/implementation of the management rules) than a difficulty.

I don't think you can say relying on the http referrer to white list traffic is good practice (as has been exposed here).

I'm on Big Time as well tried this with Megaupload,Rapidshare and Mediafire ect...,and got NO different and the speed is always limited at 110KB/s...Don't know how it worked for someone else.

Wouldn't surprise me if this loophole was already blocked. People can't help but brag about getting freebies which simply results in their freebie exploits being blocked!

You're not doing anything which would cause this like using OpenDNS DNS servers are you?
