Vodafone NZ
GSM 900/1800mhz WCDMA 900/2100mhz

Telecom NZ
WCDMA 850 / AMPS 2100mhz

2Degrees
GSM 900 / WCDMA 2100

No; 2degress only use 900Mhz and if they join 3g will be using same protocol as Vodafone as per OP.
And for the free strawberry the answer was Telecom does not have GSM on 850; or do I get a rasberry for that?
