tombrownzz: So Vodafone are giving it's customers xmas presents(http://www.vodafone.co.nz/specials-promos/xmas/index.jsp) so what is Telecom going to give it's customers for new years? My sole wishlist:

All landline broadband customers will not be slowed to dialup after they reached their cap for the billing month of January 2011.

What's your wishlist?

I know this is the Telecom forum, but where did you find about the unlimited broadband for January?
And we are from the 13th of the month, would this be for this billing cycle or from the 14th jan?

That's his WISH, not what's happening.

Why is it listed as a smart phone? Its so tiny and does near to nothing what other smart phones do. Its slow as hell as well

Well, it has all the smart phone features including a touchscreen..

Smart phone you can type up documents and stuff on, that one is hard enough as it is to type a sms on

It's a smartphone because it's running Android. Back on topic.

+1  in not slowing Telecom customers back to dialup  for January.  I'm at my mother-in-laws place who is on Xtra 3Gig plan and since putting Skype  and a  webcam on per PC  on Xmas day her usage has gone over the cap. Yesterday it was back to dial up.  A reboot of the router bought it back to  normal speed and it's remained there overnite but I suspect I will have to bump her up to a 10Gig plane which  I can do online but not sure at this time of the year how long it will take to happen..

Wow that was fast.  I changed the plan to 10Gig yesterday the 2nd and today the 3rd the  usage meter shows it's now on the 10Gig plan..

Regards,
