NZCrusader: CDMA/WCDMA is terrible where I live also.
Voda & Telecom cell towers right next to each other just down the road too...
Telecom / XT reception: 0-1 bar. Faded in and out continuously during the day. Very annoying. Vodafone & 2degrees: 3-5 bars.
Went through the support process & gave evidence , list of other peoples numbers etc. Telecom just said that they have no plans to upgrade / place repeaters or attempt to fix the problem, and that we should join vodafone or 2 degrees.
Which I have now done. Though I would have liked to stay with Telecom.
jaidevp: Quite possibly more users in the area is causing your already low indoor coverage to fluctuate, as the others have pointed out the term is cell breathing. No promises but if you send me the details including case via PM, I'll take a look.

Must be sounding like I have an answer for everything lol. But?even outside it is hard to get?Telecom coverage.
Though?if?I?walk down the road a?short distance?to an open area where there?are hardly any trees at all, it is possible to get up to 2-3 bars.
Its just inconvenient. :D
But?I have accepted that my area is probably not?a top investment to Telecom, will move into the city sometime so?wont have any problems after that.?????
