You need to get line of sight for it to work.
Not true if you use a frequency like 900 MHz .
Good point - but personally I rule 900mhz out as we only have one 5mhz wide channel avaliable with most popular equipment. Vodafone have half the band that most 900mhz wifi equipment uses. With only one channel avaliable, if you get any interference thats the link down without any ability to change to another channel.
