The iPhone 4 had at least 2 antennas, anyway..

As I undertand it, the 4 had two antennas:

1st for Bluetooth / WiFi / GPS
2nd for cellular

The 4s has added a further cellular antenna, automatically selecting the best at any given time for both Tx and Rx.

I am with the OP... the 4s just isn't worth the extra $$$ to me right now. I will wait until the proper iPhone5 is released mid 2012 :-)

Fair call - you can also still get a 3GS brand new if you don't need all the bells and whistles.

I'd been trying to highlight (but got sidetracked) that I thought there was only a $150 (not $300) difference between the 4 and 4s, and the extra 8GB might be of use.

Only the person stumping up with the money to buy can answer that though ;-)

I thought it had 3 in the iPhone 4? One was for bluetooth, wifi and gps I think, other was wcdma/umts, and the other was gsm.

I too bit the bullet and bought my first Apple product, 4S. The only reason I got it? SIRI. She rocks.

No more typing texts, and even though the business search side of it doesn't work here (yet) the rest of SIRI is well worth the extra money, IMO.

I would not have bothered with an iPhone but the reviews of SIRI sold me on the 4S, and I haven't regretted it one bit...

4S has Bluetooth 4.0 (a.k.a. Bluetooth Smart Ready) and AirPlay capable etc etc etc... Definitely would recommend 4S rather than 4 for mere $150 more.

And just a FYI, if you were planning to buy one perhaps today might be a better day than tomorrow (or next week) from Telecom.

The 3GS is a bitttttt too slow for my liking as I recall. Not horribly slow but still not as fast as the 4. The 4 runs ios5 right? And is there any plans to put siri on it?

No, though they do have it on open-term.
