I sometimes have issues receiving the texts, but if I have to wait any longer than about a minute I opt for Google to call me. I've never had to wait for long for the phone call to come through.
No issues with the service here. Been using it for about a year now. The longest I've had to wait for a text is about 10 minutes, but they usually come through instantly.
