Foiler: The Name Servers tab don't you mean? That is where they are in this case ..


Hmmm External DNS servers usually go here in the forwarders tab: (Right click the server properties in the DNS console)



I'm curious as to which zone you are viewing the properties in from your screenshot above.. Is it the '.' zone?

Good point re SNR and NM. I am checking with our engineering team to determine what exactly we're display as part of this diagnostic.

Ok gotcha, thanks for that .. I have removed the ISP dns entries from the Forwarder properties, and  put them into the Server properties.

I think the root servers kick in for the setup which I had previously where ISP dns weren't specified?
