why is it when I plug the laptop into the modem windows says no internet on the LAN icon but I can get internet?

Is it the default windows networking ui or some bloatware from the oem for the laptop?

alright the no internet warning has disappeared from win 7 "network and sharing centre" ...

again a windows issue not router PHEW
