anyone knows of any blog or pages that lists current sets that support band 28 LTE?

sbiddle: I wouldn't expect to see mass rollouts of 700MHz from any network in urban areas any time soon.

I guess that means tauranga will be without telecom 4g for another couple of years :(

Even 2 degrees has 4g here.

Although, telecom were hopeless rolling out UFB here too.

Spark have a few band 28 sites listed on http://gis.geek.nz/infrastructure.html for Tauranga. When they become active is anyone's guess.

That would be nice but I'm guessing the iphone 5s is no good for this?

Differs a bit when I bought the 5s from telecom bayfair last year, and the salesperson assured me 4g was coming and I could use my 5s on 4g in tauranga. I wonder if that opens them up for a CGA claim?

I have noticed many of the shop guys who serve you at the Spark outlets themselves are quite ignorant about the band 28 LTE 700 themselves and they are all learning as well - just need to be very careful if you are keen on receiving LTE 700 as very few devices support band 28 - my Galaxy note 4 seems to be doing it at least that is what I think at this stage as there is no L 1800 in Cambridge area through Spark as far as I am aware - people in the know here correct me if I am wrong and some talk about the newer Sony Experias and also Nokia Lumias supporting this band as well - one has to do individual research and GSM arena could be of help.
