Hey thanks KiwiOS

I have finally been able to receive the remaining messages on the xtra mail servers tonight (I have been forwarding all my Xtra mail to Gmail and have been getting POP3 access through there with no problems. I tried using OE on WinXP again but it still timed out after 10 minutes. I modified my Thunderbird settings and got the thing to work. I didn't exactly follow your settings but you did point me in the right (well working anyway ...the ones sent to us from Xtra are supposed to be the right) direction. I removed SSL and tried it with TLS when available. This seemed to do the trick. It was still way slow and I can't be ar$ed going through the 100 spam messages that have been slipping through the Yahoo spam filter since the migration so I will continue to forward my mail to Gmail and try to pretend that this Bubble thing never happened.

Thanks again and sorry to the group. I didn't mean to hijack the forum.
