Last night our Internet went down at 6:41 PM, which is the earliest this has happened yet. It came back up at 9:01PM, but at a sync rate of 351Kbps/900Kbps, and has been synching that slowly ever since. This is the earliest and longest performance degradation we've had so far.
I have been in contact with Spark via Twitter DM, but they've not replied since Tuesday when they did the port reset (they must be busier than a one legged man in a bum kicking contest). Here's hoping they can provide some more insight for me.
This is the first morning I've woken up and actually been relieved that our Internet connection went to the dogs overnight :-)
We should be getting our second visit from a Chorus tech today. Here's hoping he does a lot more than the last one, who simply re-seated an external wire (his words), and reset our port at the Exchange. I'm also hoping that the Internet is still syncing at low speeds when he gets here, but history suggests this is unlikely unless he gets here before 9AM.
