A 120Gb cap and 50mb/s would be perfectly adequate for my needs. I just wish Spark would add some capacity in southern Wellington so that I could actually get a FWA connection!

Island bay?

It's the only 4G covered area in WLG that's currently stopsell.

There is double digits of towers in build in WLG currently, wider area unfortunately not so much at the moment.

Yes. Actually Southgate, just up the hill from Island Bay.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by 'wider area'. Do you mean outside of the CBD, or outside of the city of Wellington?

Ah right on the edge of that cell.

That's fed from the island bay tower, unless your on the closer to CBD side, then your just on the verge of the two towers.

That tower is a bit of a weird one looking deeper into it..

i expect typology has alot to do with it.

I have line of sight to The Empire cinema in Island Bay. I'm guessing the Island Bay tower is probably in the main shopping village just north of the cinema and, if so, I would be close to having line of sight to it but not quite.

Is Spark still operating from these little antennas on top of the Church? As seen here

That explains the oddity i was seeing, didn't go and street view it.

i understand there was work done when L700 was added so unsure if that is current state, it is still an ommi though.

the actual gear in use there is solid for everything though as far as i could see. it would not surprise me if there was another valid limitation as to why it isn't L1800+L700.

i stayed in island bay last time i was down there, nice place. but certainly could do with an extra pole or two.
