RichardMcN: So the popular current plans (Explorer/the default you get with Total Home) will have their upload speed cap removed from 7 July?
Cheers,
Richard

Correct.
mushion22: Will be interesting to see the details of the shaping, and how prepared they are for contention.
Things in particular that would be interesting to know the performance of:
- VoIP/SIP
- Streaming media (youtube etc).
- Itunes/other store Movie downloads (eg will they be throttled such that you have to wait hours before playing).
- Gaming
*crosses fingers that it won't be another fiasco like go large was in its early days*
adamj: No larger data caps then? That is a shame. I was hoping they would revise overage pricing (Currently at $20/MB!)

Overage is 2c/MB, not $20!.
This works out to be approx $20/GB. (you might be thinking of mobile BB)
If you want cheaper overage go with a business plan. They are ~$10 more per month, but you gt a (arguably) better modem. Mostly though the benefit is the chepaer overage. Circa $3/GB on the top plan IIRC.
