I have run 2 different sorts of spyware / adaware programs all on PC's and they both so nothing.
Stats show I have up loaded 6 Gigs since March 8th.
I understand. My comment is only to say that the 1:1 upload-download ratio seems higher than I might have expected for someone not hosting a server or using VOIP or peer-to-peer protocols. Like you I don't host servers or run other applications that use a lot of upload bandwidth and for comparison, my upload-download ratio is something like 1:10. The fact that 2 different adware programs come up with nothing only means that your PCs don't have any of the spyware that they know about. There's nothing stopping it from being something else they don't know about or a legitimate program that is doing something that you didn't expect...
Are you able to check whether the usage is uniform (ie. whether usage is pretty much the same from day to day in both amount and upload-download ratio) via your ISP?

Download is relatively high on some days but the upload ratio still seems obviously out of the ordinary. The most obvious explanations for high upload bandwidth usage have already been mentioned earlier. If you're certain that nobody that uses your computers is using the data, that you haven't got virus/spyware problems, and that nobody is stealing your internet via wireless then I've only got one more idea. There is an outside chance that someone else is using your ISP account. It is a long shot, but worth a check. I can do this with my ISP (Maxnet) by logging in to my account and checking "who is online". There should only be one user...
