That's true. If anything goes wrong you are covered by the CGA at least. With flashcards they send an email later to follow up and see if everything is ok. Good service.

I also have the 6265, and incase anyone wondered Sandisk 1gig cards work fine too (5year manufacturer guarantee). :) Got mine from flashcards too, great service!

Such a sweet phone, although I have a few small issues. I noticed around the 2.5mm audio jack cover there is a really thin segment of plastic - mine has split there, but its not biggie since both halves of the plastic are intact and you cant even tell its split.

The menus do slow down after a while, might be a java thing or something? A reboot normally fixes it for me. I've also had 'operation failed' when trying camera mode - just retry and it works, sometimes it just wont go into video mode at all with the same error. I restart it and its fine, Some sites think its an issue with having full memory on the phone - which im doubting in my case.

Another strange problem is when i move some pictures over to the mini-sd to view/wallpaper, they are saved as jpegs just like the cam pics and the graphics dir photos already on it. But when i try look at them, i get no thumbnail and when i try and open them I get 'not enough memory' on all but one. I'm going to examine the ones already on the phone and try see what the diff is.

I find that strange, surely they dont take more memory to load than a regular jpeg - they're as small or smaller than the demo pics on the phone already!

Also every one in a long while (40mins+) a song will have a little skip or issue, its only small and really not a problem.

As for cam, the 2MP is really awesome on the camera - not so great on a computer screen, the image are a tad grainy and fairly bad at night. But all in all its a decent camera, and certainly nicer than most of the current other phones!

Other than that ... its really sweet, I love being able to use animated gifs for backgrounds haha - I had MC Hammer going :D

To make the menu a bit faster just make the Icons smaller. Works a bit faster that way.

I also have the problem with some songs skipping when using the MP3. Kinda sucks when you got it hooked up to your stereo and car. I think converting the Mp3s to ACC format may fix it and quality may be better - Well thats what i ve been told, correct me if im wrong.

Anyone know of a good free software program for this?

Cheers!

Hey *Jono* how do you make the icons smaller?

Thats so annoying... Everytime I go to use the Camera to get that once in a lifetime shot i'm hit with that... I'm sure a software upgrade would fix it...

Any lossey format (mp3, aac etc etc) should not be converted to another one - you -will- get worse quality, no matter which way you go. You should re-rip from the original source (e.g. your CDs)
