Putting my work hat on, from looking very briefly at this, unless it is supplied by a NZ mobile network, they are likely to be illegal to use in New Zealand. Are you bringing this device in directly?

Their site says in regards to NZ: Sorry :( Nextivity does not currently sell products directly to consumers in your area, but we’re working on it!

It seems that these are operator-specific and would therefore have the required licensing already sorted out.
