I am going to be different.  I never win anything anyway so doesnt matter.
I cant say how awesome UFB is because its not available where I am and apparently wont be in our street any time soon.  Only have adsl2 for now and forever.

UFB is a great way to get people off aging technology and into the new age. The future starts with our kids as well so why should we force ourselves and them on old DSL connections. Let's go UFB!

(even though I'm on VDSL but VDSL is good enough in my opinon heheh)

My girlfriend is in the United States and as I finish work at 4pm, I only get 2 hours a night with her. Unfortunately as patches are released while I am at work, often I find myself losing 30 minutes to patches that are either large, or over a slow connection. Gaming is a cornerstone of our relationship interaction=wise; UFB would allow me to get those patches faster, and let me spend more time gaming with her.

I saw this somewhere,

3 horrible things in life:

1) seeing your mother cry
2) seeing the love of your life fall in love with somebody else
3) slow internet

Dont wait! Bring on UFB!!

Ultrafast Broadband is coming to New Zealand soon(TM) - Blizzard style. BUT not anywhere near me and not even on the horizon for my area :(

What might the the opportunities that flow from this new infrastructure be? WebTV? Hyper-ISPs? Global Data Centres? Virtual Museums? Gaming? Education? Film?

But wait, there’s more(!) The change in market structure will provide people and businesses with a growing diversity of options. An example is someone coming along and providing people free Internet access on an advertising model, Or maybe someone with valuable content bundling in Internet access on a subscription model- think Netflix or online gaming.

Faster downloads mean better streaming video, snappy VOIP, and a wait-free online HD experience. New technologies massively ramp up upload speeds. Big photo and video uploads are painless, leaving you more time to download 'cat' pictures. No matter how many devices are sharing the connection,  faster broadband makes sure that they all work well...

Guess I'll miss it all, as all i have on offer is the RBI...
I don't have any problem paying +/- $100 (including phone) as that's what Ipay for our fixed line and 150gb ADSL data, what I have issues with is 30gb data from RBI wireless for about $115.  Its great choice for some one who has had to put up with dial up and on the fridge of an exchange, not so good for xDSL customers who either "Pay the tanker to come more often, or have shorter showers." (CoffeeBaron)

So for me (and 25-33% of the rest of the Population) I guess I'll just have to wait for 'soon' to arrive... while playing my new PS4? :D

As we share more and more on the internet. We've quickly moved from consuming media to creating content. (photos, videos, high res multiple caller video chat etc) the much faster upload speed of the UFB will change the way we communicate and share our digital life and work.

Done!

UFB is the best and biggest series of tubes for the internets dump truck. Non-geeks should sign up for UFB so they can become brand new geeks themselves!

If... if we could somehow harness this UFB... channel it into the flux capacitor... it just might work. Next Saturday night, we're sending you to the BigPipe!
