I signed up for o/s Roaming. It worked well o/s but it kept auto-renewing the data allowance every week since I returned to NZ (and charged for it). I could not see how to kill the Roaming in MySpark nor the Spark app.

Eventually I rang the Roaming Helpdesk +6433710866 and they were able to stop it. It took them nearly 1/4hr on the 'phone for them to achieve that, apparently struggling with the accounts system. I asked if there was another way to stop the Roaming but the answer was "no".

<checks Spark bill>

Something is wrong there, roaming charges stopped appearing on my bill as soon as I was back in NZ.
I.e. it Just Worked

Yes, walk-off roaming worked perfectly for me too, auto-renewed once, and then finished..

Sounds like you purchased your pack via a rep and it was enabled to auto renew, which happens every 7 days regardless. This functionality is in the process of being removed/disabled and it has been replaced with auto buy aka walk off working. Auto Buy automatically purchases packs as required (ie if you use all of an allocation or reach the end of the 7 days) and stops purchasing when you have returned to NZ. Auto Buy can be enabled in the settings menu of the app.

If you do have packs auto renewing still the Helpdesk can stop, remove and credit any unused packs.
