Right, finally have been able to confirm that the Spark firmware can be loaded on Skinny sourced modems. (obviously with a matching MD5 they could - but I had to get the confirmation from the right person!)

i have a skinny modem with old firmware would i be able to get it please. is there specific way to install it and can you revert back if needed and are there any issues after the latest update?

As for reverting, this is the newest version and is automatically pushed to our modems if you are connected to the Spark network. I don't believe we make historical versions available.

 

I haven't done the upgrade myself, but I have been told it's pretty easy through the modem GUI and a web browser.

Im on now nz broadband so not on skinny would that cause issues? Are there any performance changes or issues rolling out?

This is what i received from Skinny Broadband. I'm currently not with them and have a Skinny Smart modem with old firmware. wetransfer link is only available for 4 days. (not sure how i can upload a 43mb file here
