So I'm sitting here with the iPhone on my desk, $1029 later... Decided its for the best if I don't tell my father the actual cost. I'll say it was $200 since I'm on contract or some BS. He wont know. xD
So its just waiting for my number to move sims. I'll reboot it now and see if its finished but its been over an hour since they started it. Oh well. Its gorgeous and thats all that matters ;D
I feel like a dealer here, my 4S is great, I setup my old 4 for son in law, and a new 3GS for my 13yo daughter. Oddly, the 7yo is getting a netbook that dualboots between Windows 7 and Android, but thats pretty cool too.
Yeh my first iPhone. The store apparently put through the transfer for my number from my old XT sim to the new Micro-Sim, but after 2 hours nothing happened. They said it should be no longer than 30mins, and in previous experience with Vodafone, issuing of a new sim was instant.
So I called the help desk and they said nothing was requested so they put the request through and said it would take nearly 4 hours >< so just sitting here patiently with "No Service in the corner. Wanna use my new toy! :(
I can now confirm that while setting up gmail as an exchange, I recieved a very loud notification. Looked up top, nothing, but I did notice that "Telecom NZ" was now in the status bar. Went to home screen, and a message was waiting. Mr Cody :D.
