Run dual stack.

Use PD to handout a dynamic or static IPv6 block, maybe a /56 from a /48 pool, that the customer can sub delegate /64s to local devices / sub networks.

Then use IPv4 CGNAT for all the IPv4 needs.

Customers who experience issues with applications and IPv4 CGNAT can request for a static / sticky IPv4 address.

Done.

Works in Chrome, Firefox and IE so it's probably your choice of browser (looks like Opera).

Looks like a great idea to me, signed up for the trial.

The one key "feature" I think you will need to succeed is openness. For example the ipv4 v6 or cgnat, you decide what is best as default (probably cgnat at this point) then have a section on your user portal that clearly defines why this is a default, along with the other options the user can choose and why they may or may not work.

If they want ipv4 one check box and a submit button is all it should take and maybe a $ value especially as they get more expensive to supply. You will always get people that want everything for free but most people are realistic that you have to buy an address to supply with so they should pay for that address.

How soon you get yours will depend on things like how quickly you registered, whether you can actually get VDSL at your address, how easy it is for use to provision you, how many people take up the trial offer etc etc

well yes it is opera and considering it's now built on chromes engine I don't see why there should be a problem

Edit: Seems I found the culprit Adblock and Disconnect were to blame after white listing your site in both I was able to register my Interest

You are right. I'm going to move to Snap or Full Flavour if I'm not accepted for the BigPipe trial.

I'd have to say, purely on principle, you should not implement the DIA filter.

I won't bore everyone with a long exposition on the failings of the filter but will just say that the filter is government censorship. Plain and simple. It looks like a great idea when it is dressed up and proclaims to aid the fight behind child pornography but it is a (currently) small "Great Firewall of China" that has no place in a free society.

Net neutrality is an area you do not want to make a bad impression in, especially as an ISP tailored to 'techies'.

There are several ISPs already offering good 'unlimited' plans which have a decent swag of leechers using them already. I think the overall impact to new ISPs offering unmetered connections will only diminish.
