My notebook has a 4g card slot.
I can remove the sim from my phone and insert directly into my notebook. I wouldn't be tethering as such.
Any rules against doing that?
Might even be worthwhile buying an ipad with a sim slot in that case.
Yes you can't do that. It is in their T&C's that it can only be used in mobile phones.
Actually it says:Important to know: After 22GB of usage max data speeds will reduce. No tethering or hotspot. Personal NZ use on mobile only.
I’d love for them to try dispute a tablet or laptop using their SIM directly is NOT a “mobile” device. After careful reading of the T&C’s they never once mention “mobile phone”... just “mobile” 🤔
Yes because everyone goes around saying "i am just going to take my mobile laptop or my mobile tablet to the park" We all know when they say mobile they mean mobile phone.
