mazhar: Maybe next upgrade will come out soon.. as I've been looking on other sites and noticed that, some mentioned that there is newer upgrade than this one .. cant remember the site .. but they were talking about Sprint Version of Apache.

Interesting because I was talking to someone with the Verizon upgrade, just released a couple of weeks ago, and the Telecom New Zealand build is newer, by at least a couple of months.

Just because the update was released later doesn't mean it's newer.

You could just try it to see if it is working.

Here, done it. Yes, it's still up as of the time of this post.

Check your firewall, and try using PASSIVE mode.

I've been trying to get the downoad, I've used command line, WSFTP, and FlashFXP. I've used them all from work behind our firewall, and also using a 3G data card. Everytime I try it fails at the 'list' stage. I've changed all the settings within the application (PASV, PORT etc) but nothing seems to be making a difference. (The laptop with the data card doesn't even have the firewall turned on, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Anyone else got any ideas please?

thanks

Stu
EDIT : I can connect fine, its purely when it tries to list the contents it fails. FlashFXP for example is giving me an error

[R] 425 Unable to open the data connection
[R] List Error.

I tried doing the download with different clients.  Passive and non-passive.  It is failing.  It is just not responding when doing an 'ls'.

Anything anyone can do to resolve this?  restart the ftp server?  Post an http accessible url?

wget --server-response ftp://update:apache@www.jamamobile.co.nz/apache/AKU.zip
--00:46:23--  ftp://update:*password*@www.jamamobile.co.nz/apache/AKU.zip

Hi retep

I just tested it via Command line in XP and it is working fine. I am not sure why it is not working for you. I use command line or Filezilla.
