Yesterday I had plenty of time to kill so I visited testip.geekzone.co.nz/ It said that I was using IPv6 and the green IPv6 marker was at the top of that page and every other geekzone page. I reloaded my browser session today and happened to notice the testip page had changed to IPv4 yet the green IPv6 tag is still on every other page except the testip one. I loaded some new forum topics and cleared my browsers cache which made no difference. According to ipv6-test.com/ Im using IPv6 by default and my computer has both V6 and V4 ip addresses. The WAN IP addresses reported by that site and my modem both match.

Figured I would start a topic on this in case it is mucking up your stats on IPv6 Vs IPv4 users.

i used to have a few occasions when sub-domains would fall back to IPv6, but 99% of my usage to geekzone is via IPv6

of recent (in the last few months) have not noticed it drop of IPv6

Nothing changed. Sometimes your system will decide to use one address or another depending on response times...
