From yesterday evening, I am not able to log into Geekzone chat...is there any problem ?

I just tried now using the Geekzone Chat page with the Java client and it worked. It could be your connection - firewall?

I get the same problem at work, and it is becuase of the router we are using.

Unfortunately I do not have access to it, so there is nothing I can do about it.

I have now logged in thru ie 7. I am not able to login via Firefox. Strange, it has never happened before

Most likely your network won't allow your browser to contact the server carrying the CRL hence the error.

I found the culprit...Its my University Proxy that is not allowing it for some reason...

If I use my Vodem or login via direct connection, the applet works, but not via proxy. I even set the Network Settings of Java Control Panel to use proxy, but it doesnt. So, as many things doesnt work via my University Proxy, this also gets added in their list
