Hi all,

One of our Sony DV Cameras (DCR-PC105E) will not not zoom out anymore. At the moment it is stuck zoomed completely in!

We use them for skydiving and require them to be zoomed completely out.

I have talked to Sony but they have said to send it into one of their service centre's and pay the $90 inspection fee to see what the problem is.

Does anyone know if this is an expensive fix? All we need is for it to be zoomed out and then it is usable again even it the zoom won't work.
