I've just spent about 20mins drilling down through Geekzone Firums, looking where could I ask my Geeky-as question on here but there's not really a place.... The subject is Arduino related, and well yes, the world is awash with support only a forum away but I'm just wondering about platform for Kiwi Geeks who can hookup in their neighborhood so to speak and maybe discuss problems or issues only Kiwis would be experiencing....

There seems to be a new Singleboard Computer or Singleboard Microcontroller announced daily. Many go into the so called Maker community where people with absolutely no idea of electronics or computer programming are making things in no time, if not learning the ever such a good thing to understand.... how to code... even some kids in primary schools are learning Raspberry Pi...

OK so I'm talking about stuff like the Raspberry Pi, the Arduino(s), Beaglebone, BBC's Micro Bit etc etc.... There are virtually hundreds now many on a Linux platform but others arriving Windows 10 based like the latest Kickstarter now into full production the all Chinese designed unit, the Intel Cherry-Trail CPU Latte Panda circuit board. The thing fits in your hand, has i/o connects for a 7" LCD and touchscreen, 3 USB, HDMI, Ehternet, Blutooth, WiFi and has a full Arduino .... I only found it by mistake chasing Arduino queries!

So nothing could be more Geek than those Kiwis amongst us who have taken up experimenting and learning around these electronics marvels.... Just a thought....

Use this one, thats where all the other topics seem to go

i would say there is not enough topics on that to justify a separate forum for it.
