I've contacted the Windows Live Domains support to look at this.

In the meantime you can access your e-mail by using the Windows Live Mail client or the Microsoft Outlook Connector.

It started last night. First MSN Messenger would indicated that I had new email, but then when I clicked on it it took me to this page saying my account was wrong type. Now MSN messenger gives no indication that I have email waiting. Nor can I manually log-in.

Yes tried all the log-out things etc. Don't plan to use an email client, I use these email addresses for forums, news letters etc, you know the unimportant stuff (OK, mainly unimportant stuff - of course geekzone notifications are important lol)

You can just use Outlook Connector and have a new Inbox in Outlook for this. Very convenient. And you can remove it later when things are back to normal.

This should be fixed really soon any time now.

After a few e-mail exchanges I found someone at Microsoft that infomed me that GoDaddy nameservers are causing problems. I was instructed to change the nameservers and this is slowly coming back up again.

This only affected the web interface. All e-mails to geekzonemail.com were delivered and could have been accessed through Windows Live Mail desktop client or Microsoft Outlook Connector.

There's a fix for this specific problem coming in the next few weeks and I might move the nameservers to another provider later if needed.
