I have realised that I am constantly scrolling past the pinned or sticky forum topics at the top of each forum in order to get to the new ones.

Would it be possible to move these to the bottom of the page unless a post in a sticky forum topic is new.

For example if we look at the Vodafone forum, the pinned forums are dated 2005, 2006, 2010, 2013 and 2 in 2014. While these were interesting at the time they have aged and in some forums are no longer important enough to be shown ahead of new forum topics. Some forums have about a page of these and must be scrolled past to see new ones.

Solution is to move these to the bottom or even unstick/unpin some that are no longer relevant or over 1 year old and so reduce constant scrolling down.

Moving them to the bottom totally defeats the purpose of pinning threads. If you think a pinned topic is no longer relevant, then all you need to do is ask a Mod or The Boss to un-pin it. Easy

I've been meaning to go through some of the sticky topics (especially the Vodafone one). I've removed 4 outdated and potentially incorrect ones now. Will likely find other outdated ones in other subforums when I get some time to look.

Great, anything that reduces the number of sticky threads is worthwhile. While moving them defeats the purpose that mainly applies to new forum users. How many forum users look at a sticky thread multiple times after they have looked at the new posts when they no longer have NEW highlighting them?

These options are great for people that want to see new posts across all forums. If one is interested in just a few forums one still has to pick out those of interest from all the new posts shown. It also defeats the purpose of having sticky forum topics as they are not necessarily shown. The first link should include a Sticky column as well as Recent, Trending, etc. columns if they are "must see every time". The second link may also omit sticky forum posts.

I have the Forums Tab bookmarked. If users have the above links bookmarked they may not see the important old sticky forum topics.
