Looks like a new post editor popped up a few days ago. Chrome on W10 I can't create links using the little chain symbol - the dialog pops up, but the link is never created.

 

Anyone else finding this?

Yes, I've noticed this. You might have to select the text again and click the icon.

 

We use TinyMCE from their CDN, not a hosted version so we'll have to contact them to see what's going on but I assume it's being seen in other installs.

There's an open bug for this behaviour.

 

Basically if you select right to left it won't work. If you select left to right it works. It's being worked on.
