Hello Everyone,

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I can't find any reference to it. I used to use Opera, which I love, but I have made the switch for various reasons to Firefox (grumble, grumble :)

I had this problem in Opera, but used the Opera scale to fix to fix it, but wanted to know how to do the same in Firefox, or ideally why geekzone makes the page about a inch wider than my screen is. I run geekzone on Firefox 3.0.1/XP on 1024x768.

Any ideas? It's really annoying.

Firefox 3 has full page zoom - so you can scale if you like (as it also remembers it for any page on the site too)

It has been known that Geekzone is slightly wider than the normal 1024px width.

It has been known that Geekzone is slightly wider than the normal 1024px width.

I couldn't find full page zoom, but if I choose to zoom out, everything looks small and ugly, do you think it's possible to get da man to fix geekzone?

Mmm Firefox, I tried 3 really liked it, but had to switch back to 2 as it wouldn't display a website I use regularly.

So now I use IE and Firefox 2 on and off, anything that doesn’t work in Firefox will usually work in IE and vice versa, but more times than not I find IE works best.

So much for a replacement for IE...

I've used Opera for the last 5 years, and it's been fantastic, very very quick, lots of good features but no bloat. Unheard of in software usually :-)

I finally gave Firefox another go because I wanted spell checking in forms (i.e. like posting here, and I'm deploying hundreds of desktops with Firefox so I really need to get to know it (sigh)

IE is ok, but it's SLOW. Just opening another empty tab is a painful experience. IE8 apparently fixes some speed issues.

Thing that suprises me is the way FF3 formats some websites compared to FF2

. Frustrating!

The pages now fit on 1021 pixels, so it should be ok for your monitor.

Yes. The only thing forcing it to 1027 was the menu bar on top really. So I decided to remove a couple of items.
