Interesting, got a Low Disk Space warning around 6am but still had about 8 GB available on boot disk. Logged in around 10am after seeing the messages about being slow and timeouts. I did a disk cleanup and got it up to 15 GB.
Unfortunately I already had the partition for this disk using 100% of the virtual disk, so I shutdown the VM, expanded the disk by 100 GB and restarted it. This only took about one minute. Expanded the partition by 20 GB, meaning I still have around 80 GB spare if needed but with 35 GB free space we shouldn't have another event like.
We only ever had one previous Low Disk Space warning and that one was many years ago - can't even remember.
Anyway, the restart and partition resize seemed to calm down the VM and we are back to the usual speeds.
Sorry for interrupting your usual Saturday morning Geekzone use.

Ah the old dreaded "low disk space" - brings me back to the days of Windows 98 and 500 MB HDDs.
Back in those days the pagefile was the most active thing on the entire computer!
Didn't notice. Lovely sunny morning here in the Garden City, so wife and I went for a walk.
A walk? What's that?
Plesse igmore amd axxept applogies in adbance fir anu typos
A four letter word that isn't a naughty one!
There must be something in the water, I am getting "low disk space" warnings too, on a laptop I just bought from PBTech.
Some numpty made the recovery partition just a bit too small, less than 5MB free space.
Whats the best way around that??
Delete cookies?! Are you insane?!
Remove the drive letter using disk management?
