Is the chat down at the moment?  I keep getting the error 'Closing Link: [207.192.75.252] (CGI:IRC -- No access)'

I am connected - it took mIRC a couple of attempts to find a server in random mode. I'd say one of the IRC nodes is down. If you are connecting to a specific server you should be using random or change to other server in the network.

The mibbit widget seems to be borked - get the same thing from the iGoogle widget. Go to www.mibbit.com and connect to irc.synirc.net #geekzone if it's not banned.

The folks at mibbit changed some of their configuration setup and require the networks to accept their connection. We have contacted synirc to arrange this.
