When I open a geekzone forum reply notification email on my desktop, clicking the link will take me to the post which the link was for.

For the mobile site* clicking the link in the email just takes me to the top of the page.

I had accepted this as a limitation, the previous post in this topic jogged my memory. I will just mention it in case it is worth resolving.

(*Safari on iOS 4.2.1)

Can't be solved unless we put a mobile link in the email. On mobile handsets the link goes to the main site. It determines it's a mobile device and does a redirect. The reply id is an anchor and this is not passed to the server, it is processed by the browser.
