Boss, how about a new page called banlist.asp which lists the last 50 banned users in desc order with a brief description of why they were banned.

Then banned user's profile link could direct to this page instead of to nowhere/home page as is does currently:

Reason:
For entertainment purposes and also every now and then you see a "inactive user" and you wonder what happened to that guy...

Was just thinking... wouldn't it be funny if we got banned for suggesting and supporting it!

We could be the first on the list! Ha ha

Why not go all out and include a scoring / ranking system also....... include categories such as:

Most banned / worst repeat offender

Most bans to their credit (for the mods...)

We can list banned users - nothing wrong, since the status is already there in the forum pages, but the reasons... That might be a step too much.

You will find A LOT of banned users that you never seen before, because our mods are very quick to remove posts from people spamming the forums (not that we have many, since we block some countries well known for their spammers base).

Hey Ragnor, you wondering where Networkn went also :)

EDIT: By the way I reckon its a great idea, save me trying to find the last inflammatory post that broke the camels back as it were.

That user is on a temporary ban - unban will happen this weekend.

We don't have a distinction between temporary and permanent ban when showing user's status, and since a temporary ban is a low occurrence then I won't be putting much effort into creating a new automated framework just for that.

Thanks MF, was wondering why another user who copped a ban turned back up again, I assumed money had changed hands (there's another idea ;)
