Great night - cheers again to MF and the sponsors.  Shame I didn't win anything (I'm not complaining MF, don't ban me Tongue out) but c'est la vie and plenty of free swag anyway.  I see Pebbles seems to have won the eeePC by proxy (unless NR can pry it from her hands).

A great night MF, it’s a privilege to have been able to attend.  Also great to meet some other Geekzoners face to face.  Many thanks to the sponsors for the fine dining, drink and excellent prizes.

Great night thanks heaps to all the sponsers.  I have sadly lost my prize to my 6 year old who will be rocking the holidays away.  I even met someone from my work whom I have emailed and never met LOL.

Once again thanks all.  And to the Auckland guys I was sitting with the next round is on me. Laughing

I got what I wanted! (through a lil devious ways but hey) I seemed to get the comment that out of everyone I was the only one that was exactly as they expected, haven't decided if this was an insult or a compliment, but I'm glad my typing comes across so... me I guess. Thoroughly loved it, think GZ drinks should at least be re-occuring prizes arent necessary all the time though... definitely welcome :)

It was nice to finally put some faces to the names here...and names to faces elsewhere :) I certainly had a good time (Thanks to MF + Sponsors) and I'll be another one who wouldn't mind regular drinks either :)

Well I throughly enjoyed it as well, my only disappointment was me watching the last prize given away just as I was walking in, that'll teach me, but I have plenty of toys already so more wasn't vital (but sure would have been nice!).

Great to finally meet a number of you (MF included!) and put faces to names/alias's would have liked to meet more, but pre-embossed tee-shirts with your alias were not provided... so the small stickie "Hi i'm ..." were ok, but there weren't any left by the time I got there.

We all agreed that "TheBartender" will change his name to "TheGeneral" or something similar, since he isn't a bartender anymore (but neither am I :) but more of a General Manager of a drinking establishment..... ;)

Guys I got alot with the most, great conversation:
-BarTender...great debate mate, will discuss more, hope to see ya post on my wiki...
-The dancer dude.....had fun without worrying what people thought, not a prude like some...great fulla!
-The gay guy......I'm straight, and I gave ya a kiss!
-And that other guy I was talkin to all night....the pretty boy...who was he again? ya left early mate!!!....we should catch up to get on the piss again, good man!

For a 'bartender', I have a crap memory!

Great night overall
