@sbiddle is good at digging straight lines.

Bahaha.

I wonder how the well out of line from his friends tree now called "Steve" is doing.

Disappointed I didn't get a tree. It'll be the best tree, everyone will agree.

Upgraded from ADSL to VDSL reasonably recently.

Fibre is a pipedream - the only place with in in our area is a couple of miles away and only for a small pocket handkerchief of properties there. :(

Oh the wonders of being part of Auckland ;)

EDITED: 10 January 2018 to add the following:
AND Just checked the NZ broadband map: apparently they've decided our area is allowed to have fibre. One day. Possibly by 2022

So I won't hold my breath

<- don't ask me where I am - I haven't a clue: its a tech thing ;)
Housewife computerer: not particularly great at either.
And don't take me too seriously.

Probably abit late for this question, but what was the point of this? We setting up some sort of distributed high-speed Geekzone botnet?

I saw michaelmurfy mention in a thread his experience with getting fibre. I remembered that our BDFL got fibre in 2016, so I wondered how many of the remaining mods had it. So now we all know.
