I'm using IE on the same PC and network that I use Chrome and don't have the issue. I would prefer to use Chrome, but IE works.

With Firefox, it will be the tracking protection - it has nothing to do with an ad blocker if it is whitelisted. Click on the shield (tracking protection) icon in the address bar next to the address of this site. Turn off the appropriate setting.

Ah! Didn't know about that. Done  now and will see what happens.

Ad blocker blockers and anti ad blocking nags annoy the *((& out of me. If Chrome does what is rumoured and block Ad blockers in upcoming versions I will not use Chrome. I do not want the browser to decide what I can and cant see and do on my devices.

edit; I don't see the issue described here on my devices. I use and Adblocker but I also subscribe.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Chrome won't block ad-blockers. Chrome is change the API to enforce privacy by default and changing how add-ons can see what's in the page you're visiting. The side effect is ad-blockers can't read the page content - pretty much what one would expect since you wouldn't want malware add-ons reading the page contents either.

Correct. Subscribers have a lot less code on the pages they receive. The page is quicker because of that.

As I said it is a rumoured outcome to a draft change in the Extension Manifest. I may or may not happen.

Yes. But I didn't know anything about Tracking Protection then or what the tiny shield was for.

Thanks for your enlightenment. I now know a lot more about Firefox.

Sorry, I should have given a bit more detail first time around - assumptions and all that!

I'd recommend you uninstall this 'Adblock Ultimate' which I've never heard of, and install uBlock Origin from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/

uBlock Origin is generally considered by far the best adblocker around.

I'm using uBlock Origin  with it disabled for GZ. Still get the error.

And what browser are you using? Any other "tracking blocking" extensions installed?
