Changed. Removed the IE8 restriction. Let's see if it's the problem - let's make the 0.1% happy...

Hmmm. I see there's at least two IP address hammering our server with hundreds of requests per second...

So, no, it didn't fix the problem - I still think IE8 is buggy.
