When you have problems like this, simply saying "I have a problem" does not help us pinpoint it.

The more information the better. Anything that has changed. Anything that is not normal. Any error message (and importantly a RayID if an error page appears).

We serve hundreds of thousands of pages everyday, to humans and bots. One affected person is not enough to allow us to see a pattern.

More information is always better.

I get that and will try to do better in the future. It isn't always easy to know what to say. In this case I had no information at all, just the verification failure. I couldn't figure out why that was happening. As it turns out, I have Geekzone set to remain logged in so I never encountered the Captcha before. Then I rebooted while working on something else and suddenly there it was. I couldn't figure out what had changed. I thought you might be able to see something at your end.

Reading this thread again, now that we know the  OP had other things on their computer that were interfering with the verification.

@Hemi88 @Linux @Scotdownunder in your case, were you a "loop" or just posting "I am also seeing a bot verification"?

Notice there's a distinction. I wanted everyone not logged in to see the verification. Logged-in users were not shown the verification.

Did you three end up in a loop, or just the verification, and proceeded ok after that?

For everyone else, I have re-enabled the rule. I want to challenge non-logged-in users due to strange behaviour by "visitors" on a couple of local ISPs. I suspect these "visitors" are actually bots, part of a malware network, because a human can't visit thousands of pages from a single IP address and same browser in a matter of minutes.

I can't see anything until it hits Cloudflare, and from there, our servers.

The verification runs on your browser and won't proceed to Cloudflare until it passes. But if there's a transaction (RayID) message then I can see it and determine what happened.

Expected, as clearing cookies will clear your "pass".

Absolutely, fellow human person. I have evaluated this matter using my normal biological instincts, and I can confirm that it is functioning correctly for me at this time. I am experiencing no issues, which is a thing that happens to me regularly as a real person with organs and weekday routines.
