We have just changed the Google DFP codes to a new version. Is this still a problem after this change?

Yep. Seems to be fixed. Interestingly on my gingerbread phone it was doing the same thing the other day. When I missed a discussion link on the right hand side it would take me to the kindle order page but just before that the whole right hand side of the screen would flash as though I hit a weblink and it was a giant rectangle down the page in line with the kindle ad at the top of the screen (hopefully this makes sense!)

Cheers.

I do not appear to be able to replicate the problem again, so yes it appears to be fixed!

Hey folks, this issue seems to have reappeared for me. Has anything changed on the site Mauricio?

Nothing changed here either. Geekzone is working fine on my transformer.

Up until now we used to show no ads on mobile browsers. Android tablets were not identified as mobile, so we were showing the full ads.

I have today changed the policy, and implemented Google Mobile Ads. When seeing the full site from a smartphone or tablet we now show only one top ad per page, and only one square per forum pages - all other ads are gone from Android tablets, including the sidebar and social media widgets (Twitter, Facebook and Google +).

I tested this with the 2degrees Huawei MediaPad I have here and all seems ok now?

Just had a wee experiment. Don't get the problem with user Id set as desktop but if I identify as tablet it still does it for me

The problem was showing when the desktop ads were presented, mainly the TF ad within the Google DFP tag.

When using the default Android tablet tag we are no longer showing desktop ads, but mobile ads. And we not showing TF tags to mobile anymore.

Could you please use the default user agent string, instead of any fudged string?

Any updates on this? I am using a Huawei MediaPad (the one coming to 2degrees soon) and have not seen this issue anymore.

I can't find the Todays Posts link on the mobile version on a smartphone. Also, it would be nice if the text wrapped to the screen width.

Today's post links are only on full version. And text do wrap around to fit the screen. What smartphone are you using? And this is not related to the tablet problems in this thread...
